Using a Power Screwdriver : Buying a Power Drill or Power Screwdriver

Hi! This is Jon on behalf of expertvillage.com.
In this video clip I’ll be talking about buying a screwdriver. First of all I always
recommend buying a tool of better quality than one that’s a little bit cheaper. You
may buy a cheaper tool and it might only last six months, whereas a better quality tool
might last ten years. Next when buying a screwdriver or a drill, you want to think about getting
a cordless model vs. a corded model; so you want to think about where you’re going to
use it primarily. And kind of decide if you’re going to use it in an area that maybe away
from an outlet, I would recommend a cordless model. Or if you’re just doing basic around
the house stuff, you might want to get the corded model, the model with the cord is quiet
a bit cheaper than the model without the cord. In addition, if you do not have a cord, you
may need to buy an extra battery pack or an extra charger. Function wise, the best cordless power drill
vs. cordless model are pretty much exactly alike.
